I have been working in the IT industry for well over 17 years, having designed and managed rollouts over 10 years in my professional career. Currently I am engaged as IT director at a small manufacturing company in Oakland. At my previous engagement at Elo Touch Solutions, I helped deploy the entire system grounds up within a span of 5 months ably aided by team of over 25 consultants working across 3 geographies. The challenge of integrating Elo via collaboration partner in a short span of time was significant which I was able to accomplish. My former manager (Swati Ranganathan), and the IT director of the organization as well as other members of the leadership team, can attest my capabilities and initiative on the venture.
Prior to Elo, I worked at Infosys on SAP enhancement project(s); on contract at Mead Johnson Nutrition for their SAP template rollout project; at Siemens (for 10 years; 6 of which in SAP projects) for the north America SAP rollout projects. I also deployed the largest semiconductor template implementation project of the pioneering IT in Supply Chain implementation with I2 Solutions. Each of the ventures posed their unique set of challenges and helped me learn to walk the extra mile.
Over the years, I have taken initiative to develop solutions and reports which helped my organization contain significant costs yet delivering value to users of IT applications. While developing a solution I motivate my team to wear three hats: convenience of use, compliance of solution and integrity of results. I trust, while we are moving into world of interconnected solutions, all the three hats are important to consider while arriving at solutions we deliver to the stakeholders. As understandable, post implementation knowledge (including audit findings), lead to wealth of information to use in the next initiative.
To ensure relevance of my offerings to the organization I would server, I underwent periodic trainings and certifications (PMP, 2008; CISA, 2010; Six Sigma, 2010; and SAP S/4HANA, 2016). The trainings helped me shape up viewpoints with stakeholders in organization and arrive at solutions to tomorrow’s problems.
